Yorkville / The Annex
Toronto's Elite Community: Exploring The Annex and Yorkville
The vibe
Nestled in the heart of Toronto, two neighbourhoods stand as icons of the city's dynamic spirit: Yorkville and The Annex. Each stand as a living testament to the city's dynamic evolution. With its tree-lined streets, historic architecture, and vibrant cultural scene, this neighbourhood is a tapestry of experiences waiting to be unraveled.
Yorkville, synonymous with sophistication, has long been the stomping ground of Toronto's well-heeled and international glitterati. With its roots in the Bohemian culture of the 1960s, the neighbourhood has evolved into a mecca of high fashion, art, and culinary excellence.
The main artery of The Annex, Bloor Street, is a bustling corridor of activity. It's a haven for high-end shopping, fine dining, and cultural exploration. The Royal Ontario Museum, with its world-class exhibits, is a must-visit destination.
Art galleries, theaters, and cultural spaces dot the neighborhood, providing a platform for artistic expression and cultural exploration. The Annex is a vibrant hub where creativity flourishes.
Why live here
Both Yorkville and The Annex, though distinct in character, share a common thread of inclusivity and vibrancy. They offer a space where history converges with modernity, and where diverse communities come together to shape the city's cultural landscape. Whether you seek opulent indulgence or intellectual stimulation, these neighbourhoods have something to offer everyone.
In Yorkville and The Annex, Toronto proudly displays its dual personality - a city that honors its roots while embracing the future. Come, immerse yourself in the richness of these neighbourhoods, and discover the endless adventures they hold.
Neighbourhood gems
Some of our favourite spots here are Joso's, Sofia, Kasa Moto, & Restaurant Sotto Sotto. All of these restaurants not only provide a wonderful atmosphere to dine in, but incredible cuisine that you will remember. If you are in the mood to get dressed up and go for dinner, these are the spots to go!
Getting around
The Annex & Yorkville are conveniently located steps from both Museum station and Bay station. Public transportation is easy and we recommend it! Since you are at the center of the city, driving can sometimes be a pain with Toronto traffic; however, it is still manageable if you prefer not to take public transportation.
